You have received prescriptions for the following marked medications:

Ketonal 50mg tabl. should be taken when pain commences. You should take only one tablet every six hours thereafter until finished. After the initial dose, never take more than four tablets a day.

Diazepam (Valium, relanium tabl 5mg) is an anti-spasmodic given to relax the pelvic floor muscles. Take it twice daily for 2 days.

Proctosne - cream is placed around the rectum to prevent hemorrhoids and diminish swelling. Apply 2 times daily.

Colon C or Duphalac or any over-the-counter stool softener should be taken twice daily to alleviate hard stools and constipation for two weeks.

Paracetamol tabl. 500 mg to 3 g 6 tabl. daily can be used for less severe discomfort. Do not take aspirin !

Estrogen cream is placed on the suture lines once at bed time to soften the tissue and enhance healing ( Orho-Gynest cream).

If you had vaginoplasty suppository form of estradiol (ortho-Gynest supp.) is prescribed
Estrogenes are recommended the seventh day after labia surgery and two weeks after vaginoplasty !
Albothyl suppository is taken from the fourth postoperative day once daily at bed time for ten days only after vaginoplasty
